President Kagame in Côte d’Ivoire for Africa CEO Forum 2025

President Kagame has arrived in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire where he joined over 2,000 business leaders, investors, and policy makers from Africa and around the world for the annual summit of the Africa CEO Forum.

This morning, President Kagame joined President Alassane Ouattara of Côte d’Ivoire, President Bassirou Diomaye Faye of Senegal, President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani of Mauritania, and President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa for the opening ceremony of the Africa CEO Forum.

The President then joined a presidential panel to discuss policies, practices and personalities fit for the new world order. Heads of State will share insights on why the next generation of leaders is ready for a brave new world as the global geo-political balance pivots towards a more transactional world, leaving many African governments little room to manoeuvre.

Themed “Africa in a Transactional World : Can a New Deal Between State and Private Sector Deliver the Continent a Winning Hand?”, the two-day forum highlights the driving role of the private sector in the development of the African continent.

The next edition of the Africa CEO Forum will be hosted in Rwanda. (End)
