Rwanda received the third group of 636 returnees who had been held for years in Eastern DRC by the FDLR. They were transported to Nyarushishi Transit Center in Rusizi District, where they are being provided with basic assistance, medical care and orientation sessions to help them prepare for reintegration.
Before returning to their districts of origin, each returnee receives a repatriation package that includes transport assistance, essential supplies, and financial support to facilitate a smooth transition back into their communities. (End
