The Minister of Foreign Affairs Vincent Biruta received copies of credentials of the Designated High Commissioner of Canada to Rwanda with residence in Nairobi Mr. Christopher Thornley.
Minister Vincent Biruta and Christopher Thornley “discussed CHOGM preparations and exchanged on strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries”, according to the Rwandan diplomacy. The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) will be held in Rwanda in June 2022.
Minister Vincent Biruta wished every success in his work in Rwanda and expressed confidence that Mr. Christopher Thornley s activity would contribute to the development of bilateral cooperation and deepening of friendly relations between Rwanda and Canada. (End).
