Ambassador Rao said to the Secretary General that, over the past five years, I have witnessed the vigorous development of the bilateral relations between China and Rwanda. Especially with your efforts, the exchanges and cooperation between the Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF) and the Communist Party of China (CPC) have got even more frequent closer. In this regard, I would like to express to you my sincere thanks. The two ruling parties bear great responsibilities to their respective countries and the peoples. Both share many similarities in areas such as concepts of governance and building of the party. I hope that two parties will further strengthen exchanges and cooperation, so as to help the development of the two countries and benefit the two peoples.

François Ngarambe said to the Ambassador that, you have done a lot for the development of relations between the RPF and Communist Party of China (CPC), and the relations between the two countries. Particularly, during your tour of duty, Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to Rwanda has elevated the bilateral relations to a new level.
