Chinese ambassador paid a call on Rwandan Inspector General of Police

The Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Rwanda,  Wang Xuekun, paid a courtesy call to The Inspector General of Police(IGP), CG Felix Namuhoranye, at  Rwanda Police General headquarters, Kacyiru.

Both sides exchanged views on the current China-Rwanda relations, further promotion of bilateral policing exchanges and cooperation between the Police institutions of both countries.

The talks centred on ways the Rwanda National Police would benefit from the expertise of its Chinese counterpart through training and capacity building.

Security and policing cooperation are important parts of China-Rwanda relations. As Chinese new Ambassador to Rwanda, Wang Xuekun will do more practical things for the bilateral policing exchanges and cooperation during the tenure. (End)
