On September 7, the Chinese Embassy in Rwanda, together with the Rwanda Ministry of Youth and Arts, the Confucius Institute of the University of Rwanda, co-hosted a screening of Chinese wildlife documentaries “Snow Leopard and Friends” and “Mysterious Monkeys of Shangri-La”, which were produced by the renowned wildlife photographer & Wild China Film founder Mr. Xi Zhinong.
About 200 guests attended, including DCM & Minister-Counselor of the Embassy Mme. Lin Hang, representatives of Rwandan youth and media, Chinese institutions and compatriots, as well as faculty and students of the Confucius Institute.
At the event, Mr. Xi shared his personal experiences in nature photography and environmental conservation, and interacted with the audience. The audience spoke highly of China’s achievements in ecological protection. (End)
