Kigali: Preparations are in high gear in Kigali and across the country for the fun-fare which will grip the country on Monday as president-elect Paul Kagame takes the oath of office. Those living outside the country have not been forgotten.

Kigali: At least 16 Heads of Governments and many more high profile delegates are expected in the country to grace the swearing-in of president-elect Paul Kagame on Monday – as Kigali gets a major facelift.

Kigali: The Eastern Province, also the home-area of two presidential candidates has been awarded for turning out in large numbers to vote in the August 09 presidential polls in which also gave incumbent Paul Kagame most votes.

Kigali: President Kagame has offered to continue working with the three opposition parties which lost the election massively to the dominant RPF – a possible suggestion that the losing candidates are up for cabinet positions.
