This afternoon in Brussels, President Kagame held bilateral talks with President Ursula von der Leyen of the European Commission.
They exchanged on Rwanda–EU cooperation, including the EU’s support for the BioNTech mRNA Vaccine Manufacturing Facility in Kigali.

The two leaders were later joined by Nadia Calviño, President of the EIB (European Investment Bank), and BioNTech CEO Uğur Şahin to mark the new €95 million support towards vaccine manufacturing.
Today in Brussels, President Kagame joined other Heads of State and Government for the second edition of the Global Gateway Forum 2025. (End)
