Rwandan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Dr Vincent Biruta has arrived today in Finland for a two-day official visit.
This morning Dr Vincent Biruta met with Krista Mikkonen, Minister of Environment to discuss cooperation in circular economy.
“Thank you for an excellent meeting today, Rwandan Minister of Foreign Affairs Vincent Biruta! Finland and Rwanda are both committed to moving towards carbon neutral circular economy and have a lot to learn from each other”, said Krista Mikkonen via Tweeter.
The circular economy aims to change the paradigm in relation to the linear economy, by limiting the environmental impact and waste of resources, as well as increasing efficiency at all stages of the product economy. (Fin)
