The Minister of Agriculture and Animal Resources, Gerardine Mukeshimana, received a delegation from USAID Rwanda who presented the Modernising Agriculture Activity by Feed the Future.
The activity aims to increase incomes and improve nutrition by sustainably increasing agricultural productivity and strengthening domestic consumption and market demand for high-value and nutritious agricultural products, using market systems and facilitative approaches.
Feed the Future is a U.S. government initiative addressing the root causes of global hunger and poverty to improve food security and nutrition around the world. (End).
