Moroccan medical aid arrives in Djibouti

Kigali: Moroccan medical aid destined for Djibouti, as part of a package of aid granted, on High Instructions from His Majesty Mohammed VI, King of Morocco, to several African countries to support them in their efforts to fight coronavirus, arrived Monday 22nd of June 2020, at Djibouti international airport.

The equipment and products making up the Moroccan aid were received at a ceremony attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, spokesman for the Government of Djibouti, Mr Mahamoud Ali Youssouf, the Chargé d’Affaires at the Moroccan Embassy in Djibouti, M. Ahmed Sabri and several other personalities.

This solidarity action is part of the implementation of the Initiative launched by His Majesty Mohammed VI, King of Morocco, on 13 April 2020, as a pragmatic and action-oriented approach that benefits brotherly African countries, enabling the sharing of experiences and good practices and aiming to establish an operational framework to support their efforts in the different phases of pandemic management.
