“Our visit to Rwanda aims at learning from Rwanda Defence Force's achievements and contribution to national development that we can use in our Defence Forces to develop our own country. For instance, we have seen something like the 'Army week'..., building relations between the Army and the Nation. We are all African Defence Forces and it is better and advisable to learn from a brother so that we can see our Continent developing together”, Gen Kennedy Tlali Kamoli revealed to the media, shortly after the meetings.

Lt Gen Kamoli and his delegation also visited Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre to pay respect to the Victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

After touring the Centre, the visiting General wrote in the Visitors book that the Memorial is a “Very rich history which explains what happened, the plans to stop the recurrence and indeed positive signs of development and bringing Rwandans together”.
