Poland and Rwanda education forum kicks-off in Kigali

Dr Uwamariya and Jabłoński presided over the signing of MoUs for educational partnership.

The Minister of Education Dr. Valentine Uwamariya has just opened a two-day forum on “Enhancing cooperation between Rwandan and Polish Universities” taking place in Kigali.

The purpose of this forum is to bring together the leaders and representatives of Polish and Rwandan universities to develop ongoing collaboration and explore new opportunities in research, education and innovation to enable co-production and exchange of knowledge and experience.

The delegation from Poland is led by Pawel Jablonski, the Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in charge of Economic Cooperation, Africa and the Middle East /Republic of Poland.

During this forum, both Dr Valentine Uwamariya and Paweł Jabłoński presided over the signing of Memorandum of Understandings between University of Rwanda, Rwanda Polytechnic and Polish universities for educational partnership.

Rwanda Polytechnic was established by the Government of Rwanda to implement Technical and Vocational Education, Training and Skills Development across the Country. (End)
