President Kagame has arrived in Doha, Qatar, where he joins fellow Heads of State and Government for the Second World Summit for Social Development convened by the United Nations.
From November 4–6, 2025, the Summit will focus on advancing social inclusion, decent work, and poverty eradication.
The summit aimed to reaffirm global commitments to social development, address gaps in progress, and accelerate the implementation of the 2030 Agenda by renewing commitments to poverty eradication, decent work, and social inclusion, which were first outlined in the 1995 Copenhagen Declaration. (End)
