President Kagame in Tanzania for 60th Independence Day celebrations

Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame has arrived in Dar-es-Salaam, where he will join President Samia Suluhu Hassan and thousands of Tanzanians for the country’s 60th Independence Day celebrations on 9 December at Uhuru Stadium.

“President Kagame has arrived in Dar-es-Salaam where he was received by Tanzanian Minister of Constitutional and Legal Affairs, Prof. Palamagamba John Kabudi ahead of tomorrow’s 60th Independence Day celebrations”, said the state house via tweeter.

President Paul Kagame was invited to the celebrations by President Samia Suluhu Hassan. Tanzanians will celebrate 60 years of the Independence of Tanganyika (now Tanzania) on December 9, 2021.

The celebrations will then be followed by a State Luncheon hosted in honour of visiting Heads of State and Government. (End)
