President Kagame cheking hands the UN Under-Secretary General Rabab Fatima(left)
President Kagame met with Rabab Fatima, UN Under-Secretary General & High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States (UN-OHRLLS).
Their discussions covered ongoing preparations for the 3rd United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC), taking place in Kigali from 18 – 22 June 2024 under the theme “Driving Partnerships for Progress”, the first time the conference is being held on the African continent.
The conference will explore innovative solutions, build meaningful partnerships to unlock the potential of landlocked developing countries and explore the different solutions to the challenges outlined by the Vienna Programme of Action (VPoA). (End)
