President Kagame receive US delegation from Kent State University

This afternoon, President Kagame received a delegation of Kent State University from the United States of America led by Dr. Marcello Fantoni, Vice President for Global Education, for discussions on strengthening existing academic partnerships.

Kent State University this week inaugurated a Centre at the University of Rwanda’s College of Science and Technology.

The creation of the Centre builds on existing collaboration in the areas of peace and conflict studies under the Centre of Conflict Management of University of Rwanda and the School of Peace and Conflict Studies of Kent State University. The event was presided over by  Dr Valentine Uwamariya, the Minister of Education.

Kent State is a public university in Kent, Ohio (USA), with more than 33,000 students, 300 degree programs and 268,000 alumni worldwide. (End)
