Presidents Kagame, Hichilema attend inaugural Inclusive FinTech Forum hosted by KIFC

Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame and his Zambian counterpart Hakainde Hichilema have arrived at the Kigali Convention Centre, where they are participating in the Leaders Session of the inaugural Inclusive Fintech Forum hosted by Kigali International Financial Centre (KIFC) and Elevandi, a subsidiary of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).   

The two Heads of State are attending the inaugural Inclusive FinTech, taking place on 20-22 June 2023, where they are scheduled to give keynotes addresses as Guests of Honor. 

The inaugural Inclusive FinTech Forum will foster strategies for the inclusive and sustainable development of FinTech.  Join policymakers, entrepreneurs, investors, corporates, and foundations over 3-days to align on the implementation, policies & partnerships that will harness technology to accelerate greater financial inclusion.

The Forum has been designed to bring leaders, investors & FinTechs together to participate in impactful dialogues & meetings that will advance policies & regulations as well as create meaningful long-term connections & partnerships to advance financial inclusion through FinTech for Good. 

Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema arrived yesterday in Kigali for a two-day state visit at the invitation of his Rwandan counterpart Paul Kagame. (End)
