The president of Rwanda and Commander in chief of the Rwanda Defence Forces (RDF) has promoted and made new appointments.
Brigadier General Joseph Demali is appointed Defence Attaché to Turkey, Lieutenant Colonel Stanislas Gashugi is promoted to the rank of Colonel and appointed Defence Attaché to Tanzania.
Major Ephraim Ngoga is promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and appointed Defence Attaché to Kenya; Major Eustache Rutabuzwa is appointed Defence Attaché to Rwanda’s embassy in Canada.
Those who are promoted from the rank of Lieutenant to the rank of Captain are 665 officers. While those who are promoted from the rank of Second Lieutenant to the rank of Lieutenant are 319 officers.
In a statement, RDF shows that the above appointments and promotions take immediate effect. (End)
