Today, at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monaco, France, RDB (Rwanda Development Board) CEO Francis K. Gatare met with the world automobile governing body (FIA) President Mohammed Ben Sulayem and former Formula 1 Champion Jacky Ickx.
Francis K. Gatare and Mohammed Ben Sulayem discussed opportunities for the development of motorsports in Rwanda as well as the upcoming 2024 FIA Annual General Assembly and Prize Giving Ceremony, which will be hosted in Kigali in December.
The world automobile governing body (FIA, Fédération internationale de l’automobile) will hold its Prize Giving ceremony in Kigali on December 13.
The evening, which is part of the 2024 FIA annual general assembly scheduled for December 9-14 at Kigali Convention Centre, will honour champions from every major branch of international motor sport. (End)
