Rwanda, Abu Dhabi Police Chiefs hold bilateral talks

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), CG Felix Namuhoranye, is in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for an official working visit aimed at strengthening cooperation in security and law enforcement between the two countries.

On Thursday, May 23, CG Namuhoranye alongside Rwanda’s ambassador to UAE, John Mirenge, were received by the Abu Dhabi Police Commander-in-Chief, Major General Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei.

Discussions centered on building a strong partnership between the Rwanda National Police and Abu Dhabi Police in various fields of modern policing.

Cooperation is among the Rwanda National Police priority areas to respond to the ever-evolving policing landscape and to fight against transnational and organized crimes.  (End)
