Rwanda and Barbados signed air services agreement

The Minister of Infrastructure Ernest Nsabimana signed on behalf of Rwanda

Today, Rwanda and Barbados signed the Bilateral Air Services Agreement to strengthen the cooperation in the aviation industry, promote trade and hospitality between the two countries.

The air services agreement will facilitate cooperation of Rwanda and Barbados companies and decrease the administrative burden for authorities, creating better opportunities for investment and strengthening economic prosperity and growth.

“The signed bilateral air services agreement will open the skies between the two countries to ease the movement of people and services & this will increase competitiveness and create more jobs for our communities”, said via twitter the Minister of Infrastructure Ernest Nsabimana who signed on behalf of Rwanda

The signed bilateral air services will boost the already existing area of cooperation approved when Rwanda President Paul Kagame visited the Caribbean island in April 2022.

Barbados is an eastern Caribbean island and an independent British Commonwealth nation. Bridgetown, the capital, is a cruise-ship port with colonial buildings and Nidhe Israel, a synagogue founded in 1654.
