On the sidelines of the 12th High-Level Seminar on Peace and Security in Africa, in Algiers, Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Olivier Nduhungirehe met with Jean-Pierre Lacroix, the UN Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations.
Discussions between Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe and Jean-Pierre Lacroix focused on peacekeeping efforts across the continent.
Rwanda is the second-largest troop-contributing country, with more than 5,000 personnel deployed in missions in Africa.
Created in 2013 at Algeria’s initiative, the Seminar has grown into a key platform for strategic dialogue on peace and security in Africa. (End)
