Rwanda, Bangladesh discuss ways to enhance trade relations

Minister of Foreign Affairs Vincent Biruta received Tareque Muhammed, Non-Resident High Commissioner of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Rwanda. 

Minister Biruta and High Commissioner Tareque Muhammed discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations and cooperation in various areas including trade and investment.  

Rwanda and Bangladesh have enjoyed good diplomatic relations since 2012. Both countries are among the biggest troop contributors to the United Nations peacekeeping missions.

Both the countries are also members of Non-Aligned Movement, Group of 77 and Commonwealth of Nations. Neither country has a resident ambassador. (End)
