Rwanda become active member of the African agency for air navigation safety

On behalf of Government of Rwanda, the Minister of infrastructure Ernest Nsabimana today signed the Legal ACT of the Agency for Safety of Air Navigation in Africa and Madagascar (ASCENA) to become the active member.

“Rwanda believes that joining ASCENA member states contributes towards achieving the goal of liberalization, collaboration and partnership to reach the Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM) objectives”, Minister Ernest Nsabimana.

Rwanda being the member state of ASCENA will enhance the partnership in the Aviation sector and embrace the African Union agenda 2063 objective of liberalizing the African Skies to facilitate the movement of people and goods among African countries. (End)
