Rwanda receives the second group of 796 returnees, bringing hope to citizens who had been held in Eastern DRC by the FDLR for years.
Their return marks another step forward in ongoing repatriation efforts, with around 2,500 Rwandan returnees expected in total.
They will be transported to Nyarushishi Transit Center in Rusizi District, where they will be safely hosted and supported as part of Rwanda’s reintegration and development programs. (End
