On Wednesday 27 March 2024, the Rwandan High Commissioner for Mozambique, Donath Ndamage, conducted a one-day visit to Rwanda Security Force (RSF) Headquarters in Mocimboa da Praia District.
The purpose of the visit was to interact with the RSF Command and gain factual information on the overview of the security situation in Cabo Delgado province.
He was accorded a very warm reception by the Rwanda Security Force -Joint Task Force Commander, Major General Alex Kagame, who briefed him on the current security situation in RSF Area of Responsibility and in Cabo Delgado Province.
The High Commissioner appreciated the reception accorded to him and commended the achievements made by RSF since deployment of Rwanda Security Forces in Cabo Delgado Mozambique.
He promised diplomatic advocacy and collaboration to ensure effective implementation of RSF responsibilities. (End)
