Senate President Kalinda François Xavier concluded the official 4-day visit to the Islamic State of Pakistan on the invitation of Honourable Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, Chairman of the Senate.
From 30 October to 3 November 2023, Senate President Kalinda François Xavier visited the Islamic State of Pakistan.
The Senate President met with Dr Arif Alvi, President of the Islamic State of Pakistan, Chairman of the Senate and other leaders.
Senate President Kalinda François Xavier and Chairman of the Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani signed a MoU to strengthen cooperation and parliamentary cooperation.
Rwanda and Pakistan established diplomatic ties since July 1962. Rwanda is represented in Pakistan by its Embassy in Beijing, China, while Pakistan has had a resident High Commission in Kigali since March 2021.
Both countries cooperate in various areas including trade and investment, defense and health. (End)
