Today, Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies Kazarwa Gertrude and her delegation attended the 19th Meeting of the Bureau of East African Community (EAC) Speakers of National Legislatures and the East African Legislative Assembly in Dar Es Salaam, United Republic of Tanzania.
The EAC Bureau of Speakers is an umbrella body that brings together Speakers from the EAC Parliaments (National Assembles and Senate) and EALA Speaker to champion the cause of Parliaments in the region regarding enacting legislation, oversight and representation. (End)
