On Sunday, four new cases were confirmed with one of them coming from Ruvavu, the Health Ministry said in a statement.
Since the flu virus first appeared mid last month, health officials say 108 cases (85.1%) are fully recovered and 3 (2.3%) are recovering. Last week, the team established to work out combat measures shifted the control message to encouraging people to start using masks.
The country is also seeking the flu vaccine to give doses to at least 10 percent of the population. However, people are also being told to continue with their day-to-day activities as usual.
Those who are ill are being told to delay international travel and those developing symptoms following international travel or after a contact to a suspected or confirmed case in Rwanda should seek medical attention, while people with mild symptoms are advised to stay at home.
Two elite schools were closed after students were confirmed with the virus.
