The President of the UAE (United Arab Emirates), Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan, has died at the age of 73 due to unknown reasons.
Sheikh Khalifa has been President of the country since 2004, and is praised for his role in making the country more internationally known.
A 40-day mourning period has been held across the country for flags to be flown and work to be held at all levels across the country for three days. (End)
