The Skhirat Political Agreement constitutes “the legal reference base” for any solution to the Libyan crisis
In a statement following the telephone interview with Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Mr. Khaled Meshri, President of the Libyan High Council of State declared that the Skhirat Political Agreement signed in Morocco in 2015, constitutes “the legal reference base” for any solution to the Libyan crisis, welcoming the efforts made by the Kingdom of Morocco in this direction.
On this occasion, Mr. Meshri insisted on reiterating “the attachment to the Skhirat Agreement”. He also praised the efforts made by Morocco and said “favorable that Morocco is once again hosting inter-Libyan dialogue». (End)
