The visit of Ambassador Hazza Alqahtani of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Rwanda Chamber of Commerce for Women Entrepreneurs (RCWE) allowed us to understand the business opportunities in place between Rwanda and the UAE, according to the president of RCWE, Ms. Jeanne-Françoise Mubiligi.
“The visit of the UAE Ambassador helped us understand that Rwandan products are expected in Dubai. We understood how we can work synergistically with UAE traders to enhance trade between our two countries. We have requested the support of our Ministries of Trade and Gender, ”she said.
She added pineapple, passion fruit, carrots and decorative handicrafts (Imitako) are popular in the Dubai market. Ambassador Hazza Alqahtani has pledged that he will help the Rwandan women of RCWE by giving them connections to advance trade between the two countries. (End)
