World Vision Rwanda’s New Representative presents Credentials

The new Representative for World Vision International in Rwanda, Pauline Okumu, presented today his credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Vincent Biruta.

“It was a great honor to present my letter of credence as  World Vision International, Rwanda Representative, to the Hon. Minister Vincent Biruta of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation”, said  Pauline Okumu via tweeter.

During the meeting, Pauline Okumu stated his commitment in ensuring that World Vision International continued its strong relations with Rwanda in humanitarian and development areas. 

“As World Vision, we commit to supporting the Government of Rwanda’s s humanitarian and development areas with a focus on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, Health and Nutrition, Education and Livelihoods”, she added.

Dr Vincent Biruta and Pauline Okumu discussed areas of cooperation between World Vision and Rwanda covering Water and Sanitation, Health, Gender, Nutrition, Agriculture, Finance and Education.

Pauline Okumu mentioned that World Vision is committed to support humanitarian and development focus of the Government of Rwanda through empowering children and communities in Wash, Education and Livelihoods. (Fin)
