The U.S. Embassy in Rwanda announces the upcoming visit of U.S. Department of State Sports Envoys Max Fennell and Greta Neimanas.
These decorated athletes will be in Rwanda May 17-May 24 to lead sports programs across Rwanda to spotlight sports as a tool for community building, leadership development, and job creation.
During their visit, Max Fennell and Greta Neimanas will engage with Rwanda’s sports community, lead cycling clinics, and participate in a community race. Their workshops will focus on exchanging industry expertise on the commercial aspects of sports diplomacy.
The U.S. Department of State’s Sports Envoy program recruits passionate, community-oriented professional athletes to promote cross-cultural understanding and empower the next generation of athletes as leaders through sport. (End)
