This afternoon, the Botswana business delegation attending the Rwanda-Botswana Trade and Investment Conference paid respects to victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi and toured memorial exhibits to learn more about the history of Genocide.
Rwanda-Botswana Trade and Investment Conference started yesterday. During the two-day event, private sector delegates explored trade and investment opportunities in the two countries.
During the event, Rwanda Development Board presented opportunities in manufacturing, meat processing and the Kigali Innovation City, a flagship government program aimed at creating an ecosystem centred around high-tech, innovation and talent development.
The Kigali International Financial Centre resented Rwanda’s ambition to become an international financial destination for investors seeking opportunities across the African continent.(End)
