CAF CC: Uganda’s Proline FC arrives ahead of AS Kigali tie

Kigali: Uganda’s Proline Football Club arrived in the country on Thursday afternoon ahead of Saturday’s first leg of the round of 32 against AS Kigali which will be staged at Stade de Kigali.

Proline FC who edged Malawi’s Masters Security Services in the preliminary round is composed of 25-man delegation led by Mayor Ochom Richard-FUFA Executive Committee Member. The team will be residing at Hill Top Hotel during the stay in Rwanda.

The team will hold their official training session on Friday, 15h00 at Stade de Kigali ahead of Saturday’s clash with the Kigali City sponsored side.

AS Kigali, winners of the 2019 Peace Cup tournament stunned KMC 2-1 at Uwanja wa Taifa, in Dar es Salaam, after both sides played out a goalless draw in Kigali a fortnight ago.

Meanwhile, South Sudanese referees have been appointed by Confederation of African Football (CAF) to officiate Saturday’s match.

Malong Ring who has just returned from officiating in the All Africa games football tournament is joined by Gasim Mudir, Olibo George and James Alier. The match commissioner is Niyongabo Jean Claude from Burundi.

The return leg will be staged on September 28, 2019 at Startimes Stadium – Kampala, Uganda. (End)
