Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente arrived in Antananarivo, Madagascar to attend the swearing-in ceremony of President-elect Andry Nirina Rajoelina, scheduled for tomorrow 16 December 12 2023.
Premier Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente was received by his counterpart Prime Minister Christian Ntsay.
Andry Nirina Rajoelina, won 58.95 percent of the votes cast in the November 16 presidential election, according to the results presented by the poll body. Ten out of 12 presidential rivals boycotted the poll complaining of an “institutional coup” in favor of the incumbent. Rajoelina was handed a second term by the election commission after securing nearly 59% of the vote. (End)
