President Kagame is attending the 10-year anniversary of YouthConnekt, bringing together thousands of Rwandan young leaders, entrepreneurs and innovators to connect over opportunities for socioeconomic transformation while showcasing their achievements and addressing challenges.
Themed “10 Years of Impact”, this anniversary highlights the numerous achievements of YouthConnekt, including the creation of over 30,000 jobs, and support to over 2,000 youth-led enterprises with business development skills, mentorship services, funding and more.
Rwanda is hosting the 10th Anniversary of YouthConnekt, a platform created to connect the youth with their peers, leaders, role models, skills and resources to promote employability, access to finance, civic engagement and entrepreneurship opportunities.
YouthConnekt Africa (YCA) is an African home-grown solution positioned to provide relevant solutions for the global South and to support the implementation of relevant South-South initiatives to empower youth. The YouthConnekt Africa operates as a pan-African platform with the vision of connecting African youth for socio-economic transformation. The platform seeks to empower young people through enhancing their knowledge, experiences and skills while investing in their ideas, innovations and initiatives. (End)
