Today at Urugwiro Village, President Kagame received Tang Wenhong, China’s Assistant Minister of Commerce, and delegation, who are in Rwanda for the 9th session of the Rwanda-China Joint Committee on Economic, Technical, and Trade Cooperation (JETTCO).
The discussions between President Kagame and Tang Wenhong covered ways forward to strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
JETTCO is prepared to align Rwanda’s Vision 2050 with China’s Belt and Road Initiative, develop plans for economic and trade cooperation in the global context, and continually enhance bilateral cooperation levels. (End).
