Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) today announced the graduation of three young Rwandan men including Ian Kagame, President Paul Kagame’s 2nd last born, who completed their course at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, the UK’s most prestigious military college.
“Today, Friday 12 Aug 22, Ian Kagame, Park Udahemuka and David Nsengiyumva graduated and were commissioned to the rank of 2nd Lieutenant at a ceremony at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst UK”, says RDF in a statement.
According to sources from Kigali, Ian Kagame would have completed his military Cadet Course last year, but due to Covid-19, Course modules were re-organised to meet Covid-19 regulations, and this increased the time schedule for his military cadet Course. (End)
