On 3 Jan 24, The Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) Chief of Defence Staff, General Mubarakh Muganga, was received by General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, NI (M), Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of Pakistan Armed Forces, at Joint Staff HQs, Islamabad.
“They discussed ways of strengthening cooperation between the RDF and Pakistan Armed Forces”, said RDF in a statement.
Rwanda and Pakistan established diplomatic ties since July 1962. Rwanda is represented in Pakistan by its Embassy in Beijing, China, while Pakistan has had a resident High Commission in Kigali since March 2021.
Both countries cooperate in various areas including trade and investment, defense and health. (End)
