Rwanda will join the rest of the world to celebrate World Savings Day on October 31, 2022. This is usually preceded by a special savings week aimed at sensitizing Rwandan’s on the importance of saving and sharing practical ways one can adopt savings as a culture.
This year’s theme “Building a better future through saving” aims to encourage Rwandans on the importance of saving as a sure way out of uncertainties of life. It provides financial security, freedom, and an opportunity to enjoy a quality life.
Saving week provides a good opportunity for raising awareness and promoting different financial products offered in the country with aim of increasing access, uptake and usage of available financial products and services. (End)
