Rwanda’s attractions showcase at tourism exhibition in Germany

Rwanda’s tourism and related services are showcased in the world’s largest tourism fair in Germany “ITB Berlin 2024”, an annual travel fair for tour operators and travel agencies to build connections and encourage travellers to visit Rwanda. 

Rwanda is among other countries represented at ITB Berlin (Internationale Tourismus-Börse Berlin) that runs in the German capital from 05th to 07th March. 

The Rwandan delegation, led by Chief Tourism Officer Michaëlla Rugwizangoga, is  highlighting Rwanda’s unique attractions and experiences tailored for German and European visitors.

Rwandan exhibitors are participating in the tourism trade, including Rwanda Development Board(RDB) and Rwanda tourism private sector companies such as tour operators, system providers, hotels, and tourist boards.  

Apart from RDB, 20 more companies from Rwanda are participating in the trade fair : Wilderness Rwanda, Wanderlux Safaris, Wolf DMC, Unique Rwanda Vacation Experts, Kingfisher Journeys, Palast Tours & Travels Ltd, Primate Safaris LTD, The Bishop’s House Rwanda, Simba Voyages Ltd, W International Tours W International Tours, Selam Travel Solutions Ltd, Premier Transport And Tour Services Ltd, Hills In The Mist Tours, Blue Monkey Tours, Africa Journeys Ltd, D-Guide Tours, Mythos Boutique Hotel, Akagera Aviation training School, he flag carrier airline of Rwanda ‘Rwandair’, African Parks are participated in the trade fair.

Alongside ITB Berlin, on 4th March 2024, RDB participated at the “Unique Berlin” event. And on 5th March 2024, a special Visit Rwanda event was planned which brought together Rwanda operators and German/international travel trade.

In collaboration with Rwanda’s embassy, the exhibition is an opportune moment to interact with travel media and travel trade for B2B events and a cultural show of Rwanda. (End)
