The COVID-19 mass vaccination drive extended to more districts

The COVID-19 mass vaccination campaign kicked off on Friday, September 10 in 21 districts across all provinces out of Kigali.

More than 137,000 doses of AstraZeneca and 97,000 doses of Sinopharm vaccines were dispatched on Thursday to be administered to residents aged 50 and above, and people with chronic illnesses.

Designated vaccination centres have been set up in all the districts, and mobile medical teams are in place to reach citizens with mobility challenges in their homes.
