The new ambassador of Rwanda presented credential to the President of Mauritius

The President of the Republic of Mauritius, Prithvirajsing Roopun, received Eugene Segore Kayihura, the new Ambassador of Rwanda to Mauritius with residence in South Africa.   

Ambassador Eugene Segore Kayihura presented his letter of credence to President of Mauritius as well as the letter of recall of his predecessor Vincent Karega.  

After the solemn part of the ceremony, the Ambassador highlighted that discussions with the President focused on the bilateral cooperation between Mauritius and Rwanda.  

The President of Mauritius commended exiting relations between Rwanda and Mauritius of mutual understanding and desire to strengthen, develop and deepen further.

The newly Ambassador of Rwanda to Mauritius (non-resident), Eugene Segoe Kayihura, was accompanied by the chief of protocol and he conveyed the greetings of the Rwandan President Paul Kagame. 

Rwanda and Mauritius have been enjoying cordial relations. In 2014, both countries signed agreements to facilitate investment, trade and cooperation.(End)
