Eight Rwandan companies are participating in the 29th edition of Fruit Logistica, an annual global fresh produce trade show in Berlin, Germany, to engage with potential buyers and raise the visibility of the “Rwandafresh” brand.
The event includes every sector of the horticultural fresh produce industry and presents a comprehensive picture of the most recent developments, products, and services at each link in the international supply chain.
Rwandan SMEs and fast-growing enterprises will also take advantage of this chance to attract foreign investors interested in investing in the Rwandan horticultural industry.
The 2-days trade show will help them strengthen existing business partnerships with potential buyers who attend while creating new ones.
Fruit Logistica, the world’s leading trade fair for the international fresh produce business, is taking place in Berlin on 8-10 February 2023.
The number of potential buyers of Rwandan fresh products in Europe has increased in recent years, which bodes well for the sector’s value chain.
From January to December 2022, Rwanda earned USD53,939,318 from horticultural export products, a 64.7% increase over the USD32,747,574 generated in 2021.
Garden Fresh, Souk Farms, Proxifresh, Tropi Wand, S&I fresh, Afri food Ltd, Selly Faith, and Agronova are among the Rwandan businesses taking part. (End)
