Niger delegation in Rwanda for a learning experience

The Minister of Local Government Jean Claude Musabyimana received a Niger delegation led by Minister of Interior and Decentralisation, Hamadou Adamou Souley, who are in Rwanda for a learning experience and knowledge exchange.

Their discussions focused on Rwanda’s policies and programs in regard to the implementation of decentralisation and governance; civil registration and vital statistics in decentralized administrative entities.

Niger and Rwanda are landlocked countries. Located in West Africa, Niger is a unitary state bordered by Libya to the northeast, Chad to the east, Nigeria to the south, Benin and Burkina Faso to the southwest, Mali to the west, and Algeria to the northwest. (End)
