President Kagame received Lt. Gen (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Mohammed bin Aqeel Al Nabit, Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces(QAF) who is in Rwanda for a visit to strengthen bilateral ties.
Qatari Army chief is visiting Rwanda for three days since yesterday. During the visit, the RDF (Rwanda Defense Forces) and QAF signed a MoU on cooperation in Defense and Security.
The visit comes after President Kagame’s visit to Doha, the capital of Qatar, on February 14, 2022, during which he held talks with the country’s Supreme Leader, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani.(End)
