Col François Regis Gatarayiha appointed Deputy Head of Defence Intelligence
The President of Rwanda and Commander-In-Chief of the Rwanda Defence Force has appointed and promoted the RDF (Rwanda Defence Force) personnel as follows:1. Col François Regis Gatarayiha is appointed Deputy Head Defence Intelligence and Director of Technology
2. The promotion is as follows:
Major to Lt Colonel : 460
Capt to Major: 472
According to the presidential order establishing special statute governing Rwanda Defence Force No 044/01 of 14 Feb 2020; powers to promote Non-Commissioned Officers and other ranks to higher ranks are vested in The Minister of Defence of Rwanda.
Therefore, The Minister of Defence has promoted NCOS and other ranks as follows:
1. Warrant Officer II to Warrant Officer I: 4
2. Sergeant Major to Warrant Officer II: 14
3. Staff Sergeant to Sergeant Major: 10
4. Sergeant to Staff Sergeant: 225
5. Corporal to Sergeant: 2,836
6. Private to Corporal: 12,690
